A-N-T-I-C-I-P-A-T-I-O-N

Anticipation MarketingA-N-T-I-C-I-P-A-T-I-O-N!

It's something we get giddy about.  Apple has mastered the concept.  So have lovers and adoption agencies.

My point?  We crave excitement and suspense.  We dream about it.  We salivate over it.  We imagine ourselves possessing it.  It's ours.

That's where brilliant marketing comes in.  Appealing to our animalistic senses captures the imagination every time.  We become like children.  Anticipation heightens and interest grows like a weed... fast and furious.

Change your marketing... and you'll change your business.  Boring is boring.  Be bold.  Be cutting edge.  Make your WHY be a WOW!  Create a sense of anticipation and you'll own them.

I am always trying to find the right bait to entice clients although it seems to be extremely elusive Melinda (Mel) Peterson

Facebook, Twitter and just about any comment thread are excellent sources for ideas on how to create your WHY & WOW Paul.  Keep a watchful eye on how they think and speak... and the elusive will soon become exclusive ;-)

Mel- I do agree with Ron & Alexandra Seigel ..it's FOMO or the need to be an EA (Early Adapter).   Either way, it's great marketing.

I work the way my areas feel comfortable.  To much tech scares many people off.

Cracking me up... Sharon!

In an industry predominantly made up of fifty something years olds... adaptation doesn't come easily... although, I whole heartily agree Kathy!

Marketing doesn't always have to be about the bells and whistles of high-tech William.  High-touch, feel good adjectives can lure them in too!

I'm delighted and honored you think so Marti ;-)  Thank you for the feature!!!

Hi Mel -- a-n-t-i-c-i-p-a-t-i-o-n ---- always reminds me of Carly Simon plus that catsup commercial --- it's odd how certain words trigger images.

Thoughtful post.

You have some great ideas not only in your small blog (this is not a diss), but also in some of the answers you have given.  This has been a great read, thanks all.
