The Morning After

Some woke up this morning asking themselves, what just happened?  Their date last night was either a huge hit or a complete disaster.  The morning after always provides a clue.

Did you find yourself totally stag or enveloped with your love muffin for morning hugs?  No matter which side of the bed you rolled off of, and/or with whom, there's always something to be grateful for.  The elections are over and it's a brand new day.

This is AMERICA. The land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE.  You can say what you want, wherever you want, and they won't hang you up by your toes in Times Square.  We can thank our beautiful country for that.

I'm grateful to live here, breathe the air, and have the privilege of expressing my thoughts without persecution.  That's something to celebrate the morning after.  Now lets kick up our heels... it's time to get stuff done!

Mel,

Amen to that, and we are in full agreement with you.  Another day to start anew, and actually every moment can be a new beginning.  A

Mel~ I have a love hate relationship with politics in general. The litter of campaign signs with sign ordinances being totally ignored kills me. I wish I could exempt myself and my signs...

The majority has spoken and I agree with you that that is fantastic! Let's get something productive done!

Mel, a good morning walk with dogs I love, fresh crisp misty air, a good cup of Joe and my friends all around, which include those that aren't human...what's not to love?

And isn't it wonderful that we can wax philosophic here and have others join in?? With no persecution as you say.

I LOVE this country and I LOVE living in the country!

Yes it was Karen!  I'll be able to smoke a joint for fun in Oregon... lol!

I love BRAND NEW DAYS... Alexandra & Ron!

Every day begins with us... Gene ;-)

Me too... Paul.  I barely pay attention to the litter of rhetoric.  Although, I'm grateful to those who do... someone's gotta do it ;-)

Gaylicious... that pic you posted of your party for one... was delectable.  Way to reel me in to your lakeside paradise.  I'm there baby!

Hi Mel... I am so glad the election is over. I watched the returns on the 11 news last night and decided this morning to turn my attention to other things. Indeed, let's get something done today! I love this country! Yet, today, I am so happy the elections are over and done with.

I woke up in a fine mood and even woke up my wife to kiss here on out anniversary and then went to the golf course. As for the elections, 4 more ugly years in our state

Mel- I love your upbeat post.  Yes, look at what we have and while some may be unhappy with the outcomes, we're all in this together.  We'll win when we all win.

Melinda (Mel) Peterson - "The morning after" here in Arizona just means another day the sun came up and another day I'll be the best real estate broker I can be! I voted for the candidates I thought would do the best job and that's all I can do.

Awww... Happy Anniversary Ed!  Now that's something to celebrate ;-)

Thank you kindly my sweet friend... Kathy!  Life is good and I've got nothing to complain about ;-)

Ditto Nicole!  Love your Mirror photo ;-)

Hi Mel - I'm overwhelmed with relief that it's over - and so is Mary, since I have a habit of screaming at the TV, and I'm hoarse from the workout my vocal cords have been getting lately. You're right - let's just get on with it - it's still America, and we've got things to do.

I was very happy that all that bashing had (mostly) stopped on the morning after. It felt good Mel. I am no longer a voting-virgin. Just one of the reasons why I pledged allegiance to this flag.

I hope your 'legalization' benefits OR as much as it has CO. It turned our economy around, and it certainly does not have an impact on our crime rate. Only problem we sometimes have is people driving 13 mph on the highway. LOL

Overwhelmed with relief... that's cute Dick!  So... you're a screamer!  I just can't picture it ;-)

You've been inaugurated... Andrea!  We're glad you're on this side of the salute ;-)

LOL... Meems!  I remember reading a tidbit about CO Hwy 420... apparently the Hwy signs were 'mysteriously' disappearing... so the powers that be decided to rename the Hwy 419.99 ;-)
