A Lovely Day in The Life of Friends. After a very rough week of working on some difficult deals, attending one too many meetings, politicking and presentations, and receiving some sad news that a dear friend suffered a heart attack, this gal is one tuckered girl.
Fortunately, today offered a little reprieve. I had the luxury of relaxing in a limo with friends while touring some beautiful vineyards in Southern Oregon. The sun was shining, the landscape was gorgeous and the company was engaging. Thank you guys for bringing me out of my funk... love you!
A few pics of A Lovely Day in the Life of Friends.

It was a lovely day in the life of friends!

Oh, KS, I'm so very, very glad that you had the opportunity to do this. I looks like it was amazing. I pray that your friend is going to be fine, and I'm so thankful that someone pampered you. YOU DESERVE IT!
PS ~ Might I suggest that you crop the first picture in your post and use it as your profile pic? It is absolutely ADORABLE :)
Melinda-Sorry about the rough week and sorry too about your friend that had the heart attack I will say prayers that she will be back on her feet soon. Scary for sure. I am glad you had a great day today with friends, They make life LOTS more fun and a welcome treat after a rough week. Enjoy your Sunday.
Melinda, the pictures are great and glad you had a break with friends that care. Touring the vineyards in California was my favorite day off activity. Here is to another lovely day tomorrow and to your friend getting better.
Sounds like fun. And looks like your day was filled with friends, fun and beautiful surroundings.
Mimi, what do you think of having two profile pictures? I kinda like 'em both! It's all quite lovely!
Melinda, That's what friends are for. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I bet they did as well.
Hi Melinda, this is the 2nd or 3rd post in the last few minutes where the pics are not displaying....what's up with AR?
SHE's so lovely, Brian, that it doesn't really matter. For some reason, I thought her KS was more apparent in the new one, but we fell in love with the old one, and lovely is lovely :)
Melinda - the vineyards in Southern Oregon are beautiful and I'm so glad you got out and enjoyed them in style - the way you deserve! Not surprised you have so many friends that love you in your every day life and on AR - you're a special person, down-to-earth, sweet and real! So glad we met in the Rain!
Melinda - So glad you had a good day out in the vineyards.... I am jealous of that trip, but not of your week.. Best to your friend who is suffering, and good luck with the difficult deals.
I like the top post pic too!
Mimi ~ Thanks for your lovely comment. It made me smile.
Sharon ~ You're always thinking of others! How's your kitty, Lindsey?
Ellie ~ Thank you for your encouragement! Love your name!
It was Tammy! We all need a play day, yes?!
Brian ~ Between you and Mimi, I think we have ourselves a mutual admiration society ;)
Chas ~ Friends are like flowers... we need to breathe them in more often ;)
John ~ My bad... I needed to resize them. Thx for stopping by!
KS ~ Lovely is Lovely made me smile ;)
Kristine ~ Ditto my sweet friend.
Dagny Girl ~ Glad you stopped by to visit... how's the new biz going?
Melinda,
What a wonderful journey you took! You are giving me ideas, perhaps we will take a trip up to the Santa Ynez area during crush time........Have a great week. A
Melinda - looks like you got just what you needed - time to recoup with dear friends. I just told my daughter in law - who really has a great network of women friends - "we're only as strong as our estrogen connection."
Look at all those flowers, my camera is asking if we can go and my allergy medicine is begging for mercy.

She is doing much better thank you for inquiring. Hope your Sunday was a fun one
Alexandra ~ It was a lot of fun and the scenery was spectacular!
Love it Debb ~ "we're only as strong as our estrogen connection."
Take some Claritin... then stop and smell the flowers Todd ;)
I'm so glad to hear that Sharon!
Melinda, It looks and sounds like you found the right mix of wine and friends. Good for you! Best wishes always.
Wine tastings and wintery/vineyard tours are always fun. Vineyard look so pretty when the vines are full of leaves andgrapes.
Richard ~ It's a lovely way to spend the day!
Eric ~ Awwww, now that's a beautiful site!
I love that garden. I could sit out there for hours on end and think of absolutely nothing to do except sit there for hours on end!
