Speechless Sunday ~ How Now Brown Cow!

Speechless Sunday ~ How Now Brown Cow!  My fine furry friends decided to mosey on over to be included in picture day.  I didn't even have to ask them to pose for the camera, they just did what comes naturally.  Perhaps if all my clients mooooved as quickly as these cows, I might end up on the poor farm.  But, today it's just another funny farm day in the neighborhood!

Those are great Melinda.  I've always liked cows.  Could be because my Grand Daddy had a farm, but I just think they have great looking faces.

These are very attractive cows.  I am sure there is a bull around somewhere checking them out.

Melinda, very nice looking beef cows, they are clearly not dairy cows. You just gotta love these marvels of agriculture. I love them all cows. pigs, sheep, goats. chickens, you name it...thanks for the pics

Hi Melinda-

Thanks for sharing the bovine friends.  Here in Texas, we love to watch the longhorns!

This reminds me of a show I saw on Animal Planet. A stunt bi-plane in London was taking off from a local airport, camera attached ready to capture stunts from the air and the engine cut out. Fortunately the air strip was surrounded by cow pastures. The pilot knew he was going to have to land in the fields. The only challenge was to avoid the hundreds of cattle scattered throughout. Unfortunately, one cow was not so lucky. The wing hit the cow and the cow went a tumbling. You can actually see the cow get hit and roll a few times. Amazingly, this pregnant cow, got up, walked around (probably a little bruised) and gave birth to a perfect little calf. I bet she hates the sound of airplanes now though!

Ok, They are so cute, don't you just want to hug them! I don't know why but for some reason I have a goal of one day having about 5 acres, a big red barn and some miniture jersey cows.

They look as if they really want you to pet them.  Very contented Herford cows.
