In a renovated rustic barn on their large berry farm, the Pennington family, of Southern Oregon, work together to produce a wonderful variety of berry jams and "old school" style baked goods, as well as fresh berries in season. This 90-acre farm and bakery is located in the heart of the beautiful Applegate Valley in Southern Oregon.
Cathy and Sam Pennington moved their family from their Colorado farm in 1994 to the Applegate Valley, just eleven miles south of Grants Pass, Oregon. Initially, the family planted 7 acres dedicated to berries. What they ended up with was a harvest beyond measure. All of the berries are grown herbicide-free, and the baked goods are all made from scratch, using only the freshest ingredients available. With their commitment to excellence, the Pennington family farm is well-known throughout Southern Oregon and their products are always a "sell-out" at the local farmer's markets in the Rogue Valley.
The bakery and farm market are open almost year round, and their breads, pastries, and a large variety of jams are available at the farmer's markets in Ashland, Medford and Grants Pass, as well as specialty shops throughout the Southern Oregon.

The Applegate Valley is also known for some very fine vineyards!
The Penningtons introduced me to the Tay berry. Fabulous hybrid. Kudos to them.
