Southern Oregon Living: Our Little Pumpkin ~ Dressed as a Spider!

Our Little Pumpkin ~ Dressed as a Spider!

My Little PumpkinOur Little Pumpkin!  I couldn't resist sharing a picture of our adorable 9-month old grand-daughter, dressed as a spider, sitting in the middle of a pumpkin patch.  Isn't she the cutest thing you ever did see!

Of course, I am biased. but for good reason.  This little girl was a miracle baby!  After only being married for 1 year, my son-in-law received the horrible news that he had cancer.  As a result, he and my daughter were told their chances of conceiving were very slim.

Well, I am happy to say, this little girl proved them wrong!  Ellie is a happy, healthy, beautiful baby.  Ellie is our only grand-baby and we are loving every minute of being grand-parents!

She is a doll. My parents just 'acquired' their first grand child and all I have to say is: I wish I had been their granddaughter.

My son-in-law is doing well.  The cancer was contained to a tumor and was removed.  Although, he is on a cancer watch for the next 10 years (since he was so young when he got it, and also because his dad died at a young age from Hodgkins Lymphoma).  Thanks for asking Marcia!

Very cute Larry!  That would have been an adorable title!

Ha Julie!  Someday, you will have the lovely experience of being a grand-parent.  It is a joy!
