First... properties aren't typically distressed... people are. Second, I never like to refer to myself as an 'Expert' on anything. It's a pretty tall title and one that comes with great responsibility.

Most seller's, who are in financial trouble, got there because of lost jobs, failed businesses, over-spending, and the like. Existential circumstances were the cause, and 'distress' became the effect.
I Specialize in Helping Distressed PEOPLE! So, how do we help distressed people? First, we listen... carefully. We sift through the mire of emotional rants and we get to the meat of the issue... loss. Can you identify with loss? If so, then you can rightly call yourself a Certified Distressed People Expert Specialist. If, on the other hand, you have never experienced real loss... then you may be at a loss to identify with someone who has. Why? Ben Franklin said it best... "Those things that hurt, instruct."
